How to choose the right craftsman: 7 things to check

1. Check the CVR number
Any serious craftsman has an active CVR number. Look it up on virk.dk and check:
- Is the company active and registered?
- How long has it existed?
- Who is the actual owner?
Avoid craftsmen who only accept cash payment or cannot provide a CVR number. This is a red flag.
2. Read reviews
Reviews from previous customers are the best indicator of quality. Look for:
- Total number of reviews (not just the average)
- Recent reviews (the last 6-12 months)
- How the company responds to negative reviews
A company with 4.2 stars and 50 reviews is often more reliable than one with 5 stars and only 3 reviews.
