An electrician typically charges DKK 400-650/hour incl. VAT for labor. Materials are additional. Here are prices for the most requested tasks:

Lighting
- Recessed spotlights: DKK 800-1,500 each incl. installation
- Outdoor lighting: DKK 2,000-5,000 per light point
- LED strips in kitchen: DKK 3,000-8,000 incl. installation
Underfloor heating (electric)
Electric underfloor heating in a bathroom typically costs DKK 8,000-15,000 for 5-8 m² incl. thermostat and installation.
Ventilation
Installation of mechanical ventilation typically costs DKK 25,000-60,000 for a detached house.
When should you contact an electrician?
All electrical work beyond simple tasks like changing a bulb or mounting a lamp in an existing socket requires an authorized electrician. Unauthorized electrical work is illegal, dangerous, and can void your insurance.
